Yes I fell for it.....

Inspite of all the negative reviews I bought this app anyway. Much to my surprise it actually did work, which I didnt really expect. It pinpointed my location to outside my company building. But I whole heartedly agree with many reviewers.
1. You definitely need some kind of stealth activation feature. I doubt a thief will willingly let the app give their location.
2. Its been sugggested to upgrade it by allowing you to remotely activate this feature. That would be allow better than wait for the would be thief to activate it themselves.
